The storage of images on a server needs large storage space. The DOU module can define for each camera or group of cameras, according to the image quality, frame per second and image time to live, the storage needed in order to fulfil the task. The management of the space disc involves the overwriting of the images that exceed the period of historical maintenance. The system is able to recalculate in real time if the condition are respected, if not, the authorized users receive an alarm.

The new system can optimize the disk space, through the removal of old images.

Imageserver ed Eventserver added

In the new release 2.x, a new functions allow to store images on different servers: Events (EventServer) and Images (ImageServer), according to period and days fixed.

During the configuration it’s possibile to flag the server on which set the camera.

Moreover, it’s possible to set additional servers and fix period and days of activation (Time 0-24 and days, mon-sun).
